TWICE Tzuyu's 'Who's the Idol to Celebrate in Times Square' on the global K-pop fandom platform 'Whosfan?' In the third week of June, it took first place in the voting and a happy birthday advertisement was sent to Times Square.
Tzuyu, whose birthday was on the 14th, took first place with a high turnout of 78.62% in the votes that global fans participated. Next, Stay C's Se-eun and Oh My Girl's Arin took second and third places. Voting was held for a week from the 24th to the 31st of last month.
The advertisement for Tzuyu's birthday is being sent out for a week from June 14th to 20th local time on a large billboard measuring 47m in width in the building right next to 'tkts', which is known as the heart of Times Square in New York.
On the 17th, at 7 pm, Whosfan released a local video of the advertisement being broadcast through YouTube's 'Whosfan TV' channel. In the advertisement video directly produced by global fans, Tzuyu boasts a dazzling visual and catches the attention of locals and viewers.
On the other hand, Whosfan is holding global fans' voting every week for K-pop artists whose birthdays are right for a large billboard advertisement account in Times Square in New York.
Currently, ATEEZ’s San, Super Junior’s Heechul, Drippin’s Cha Jun-ho, April’s Chae-kyung Yoon, Purple Kiss’s Suan, and Lovelyz’s Baby Soul, who celebrate their birthdays in the second week of July, are competing for nominations. Voting closes at 11 am on the 21st.
